The Bamboo Fern

Conogramme emensis is a semi-evergreen fern forming a clump of spreading glossy fronds with green and yellow banding
Slowly spreading by creeping rhizomes to form a (mainly) evergreen clump of attractively streaked, pinnate fronds, this bamboo fern is ideal for partially shaded borders where the soil does not get too dry.
This makes a fabulous addition to the fern collection or mixed shady border 
Originating from Mount Mt. Emei in China

• Position: partial shade/Full Shade
• Soil: moist but freely draining, fertile, neutral to acidic
• Rate of growth: average
• Hardiness: Frost hardy but may need winter protection until established
